Position Overview

PbonAdworks is a digital marketing agency that manages advertising for a national network of licensed stem cell hair restoration clinics. We currently manage campaigns across 50+ locations.

Our media buying infrastructure, CRM setups, and reporting dashboards are standardized and automated. Because the technical management of our accounts is stable, the primary driver of campaign performance and account stability is creative velocity and full-funnel iteration.

We are hiring a Senior Performance Creative Strategist to own the creative lifecycle from initial concept to post-production delivery. In this role, you will focus entirely on a single vertical: stem cell hair restoration and medical aesthetics. You will be responsible for developing new ad concepts and corresponding landing page variations to manage ad fatigue across the network.

You will test your creative concepts using a designated $15,000–$30,000 monthly testing budget in our local Arizona corporate account, validating winning assets before they are deployed nationally. This is an individual contributor role with no media buying or client-facing responsibilities.

Core Responsibilities

  • Hypothesis & Full-Funnel Development: Formulate creative hypotheses based on performance data and market research. Develop the complete angle for a campaign, which includes writing ad scripts (defining hooks, body copy, and calls-to-action) and designing the structural landing page layout and copy variations to ensure a consistent user journey.

  • On-Set Direction & Talent Management: Translate written concepts into clear production briefs. Lead local shoot days at our corporate clinic in Scottsdale by directing on-camera actors, creators, and medical professionals to ensure the raw footage aligns with the strategic intent of the brief.

  • Post-Production & Editor Management: Manage our video editing workflow. Direct how raw footage is sliced, structured, and organized into testing variations (such as pairing a single control video body with multiple distinct 3-second hook variations) while maintaining quality control over the final assets.

  • Creative Testing & Data Analysis: Set up and evaluate structured creative testing models inside our sandbox ad account using clean A/B testing methodologies. Analyze metrics such as Hook Rate (Thumbstop), Hold Rate, Outbound CTR, and landing page conversion rates to identify why assets succeed or fail, using those insights to plan the next creative cycle.

Role Boundaries (What You Will NOT Do)

  • No Technical Media Buying: You will not build live ad campaigns, manage exclusions, or adjust active ad spend distribution within the ad managers.

  • No Client Account Management: You will not lead client retention meetings, handle client onboarding, or manage day-to-day client communications.

  • No Corporate HR Overhead: While you will direct production talent, local actors, and creative video editors on a project basis, you will have no traditional people-management administrative duties or corporate HR responsibilities.

Qualifications & Competencies

  • 3+ Years of Experience: Direct track record as a Creative Strategist, Performance Copywriter, or Conversion-Focused Creative Director with a heavy emphasis on paid social media channels (Meta Ads experience is required).

  • First-Principles Problem Solving: Ability to deconstruct a technical clinical offer to its core value proposition and build original direct-response angles from scratch, rather than relying on copying competitor creative.

  • Understanding of Creative Testing: Practical experience structuring valid A/B tests. You must understand how to isolate variables (such as testing explicit hook variants against identical body controls) to ensure testing data remains clean.

  • Production Leadership: Experience managing a physical creative set, directing medical practitioners and actors on camera, and ensuring production timelines are met.

  • Full-Funnel Alignment: Understanding of how consumer movement from ad copy to landing page layouts affects conversion rates, ensuring message match and proper visual hierarchy.

  • Geographic Requirement: Must reside within the Greater Phoenix / Scottsdale, AZ metropolitan area with reliable transportation to attend periodic on-site shoot days at the corporate clinic.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $130,000 flat salary with scheduled annual reviews.
